Both Twitter and TweetDeck (as well as most other Twitter Clients) give you an easy way to get a list of responses people sent you. On Twitter itself, this is the @Replies tab off of your home page. TweetDeck gives you a Replies column by default, and if you delete it, you can get it back by clicking on the replies button
on the top of the screen. TweetDeck's replies button uses the replies twitter feed feature from the Twitter API to work, so it returns the exact same list that you get on the home page.
I've found however, that I often want to track everything that is said to or about me, even if they are not technically @replies. Because of this I've ditched the replies column in my TweetDeck and instead have created my own @replies list of sorts using the Search feature in TweetDeck which uses the Twitter Search API. To do this yourself follow the simple instructions after the break.

Back in August, I posted a how-to on keeping your iPhone (or iPhone 3G) and Mac in sync with Google Calendar all the time over the air, it basically required using both Mobile Me and Spanning Sync with an Always On Mac to make sure your iPhone was kept in constant sync with both your Mac and Google Calendar.
At the time, it was the only solution available to make this possible, now however, Google has made it all so much easier, and cut out all of the cost, in fact, I'm sure Apple is not too pleased about how Google has made it possible to have two way over-the-air syncing with iPhones for free, thus making their $99/year Mobile Me Service all but unnecessary to most people.
Without further ado, here is how to keep your Mac (which no longer needs to stay online 24/7), your iPhone, and Google Calendar all in sync for Free.

I'm mere hours away from taking a little vacation to Las Vegas along with my wife, and my roommate. Tomorrow morning I will board a Virgin America flight (I'm much looking forward to trying them out), for Las Vegas.
I've got a lot of fun planned, including one last trip to the Star Trek Experience in the Las Vegas Hilton. In fact making a final voyage to the Experience was my primary reason for visiting Vegas this month.

My Wife, Barbara, and I, as well as our roommate Mike, just got back home from seeing The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, and it was fantastic!

April is here, and that can only mean one thing... practical jokes. Tuesday was April Fools day, and as usual, the jokes and pranks were out in full force. Some of them elaborate, some of them simple, and most of them funny. One of the more elaborate ones this year was a promotion done by the Nestle corporation.
Nestle had displays made up containing rebranded Butterfinger candy bars. The announcement on the display read that effective immediately Butterfinger candy bars are to be known as "The Finger" and to search the phrase in Yahoo to find out more. What was impressive is that the display actually contained a number of "The Finger" candy bars and they were giving them away for free. A great publicity stunt for April Fools day. Searching for the finger on April Fools day on Yahoo gave a link to a video on Yahoo! Video that outed the joke. It may be stupid, but at least I got a free candy bar out of it, as well as a chuckle (just for the record, I wasn't fooled for a moment, it was obvious to me that it was a joke, though apparently some people thought they were serious).

Last week I attended the MacWorld Conference and Expo 2008 in San Francisco as I did last year. The reason I did not write a post on my blog for the event however is because I'm pleased to announce that I have written an article reviewing MacWorld for the distinguished e-zine, LLRX (The Law Librarian Resource Exchange). I've always had an itch to get into journalism and the publication of my first article in a respected online magazine is a very exciting announcement for me.

Has it been a year already? It seems like such a short time ago that I sat up at 2 a.m. in a hotel room in San Simeon, CA writing about 2006. I claimed 2006 incredible and, an "oddity" in my life as for the first time in recent years I was not alone and sad on New Years Eve.
Tonight I'm starting a little early, it's 11:31 p.m. right now as I type these words (I imagine it will take me a bit to finish writing this post) on New Years Eve, and I'm capping yet another amazing year in the life of Nick Moline.

I've finally gotten around to moving my site onto nick.pro and off of capslog.info (which should now redirect to nick.pro). I've long wanted to focus on this more professional domain name, so I'm very much looking forward to improving this site as time goes on.
Also in the process, I've finally upgraded to the new shiny Wordpress 2.3.1 and am having fun tagging my old articles.

I'm not sure why I've never done this before, but I'm writing this blog entry from the air, literally. Barbara and I are on our way to Texas to attend my brother's wedding. David is getting married on Saturday in Houston. We are on our way to my parent's house in Arlington at the moment and will drive down with my parents on Friday.
We should be landing in about a half hour or so, after flying for a total of about 3 hours and 15 minutes, and I don't have too much to say at the moment.
