I’m mere hours away from taking a little vacation to Las Vegas along with my wife, and my roommate. Tomorrow morning I will board a Virgin America flight (I’m much looking forward to trying them out), for Las Vegas. I’ve got a lot of fun planned, including one last trip Read more…
Coworkers have recently encouraged me to get onto facebook. As people who know me well know, I’ve never been a big fan of Social Networking sites, so I resisted facebook for a long time, just as I resisted MySpace and Linkedin. Actually I resisted facebook longer, as I just got my profile up last week. I have always thought that social networking sites were a waste of time, that anyone who wanted to get ahold of me would easily find me on my blog.
Every New Years Eve I find myself counting down the seconds until the next year hoping in my heart that the next year is better then the last. This year however I found New Years Eve very odd, because I cannot possibly imagine 2007 being as amazing as 2006 was, and I don’t even want 2007 to be better then 2006, I just want it to be more of the same.

With this new post I have also replaced my old blogging software (I was never quite happy with Blog:CMS) with WordPress, which I was reluctant to try, but now I find it to be such a good blogging software that I have no idea what I had against it for so long.
Note added May 2006 – I once had a nice intro passage here, but as this trip was to see my then Girlfriend, and we have had a parting of the ways since it seems that she got into my site and edited the intro paragraph at some point since the breakup. I can’t remember what was once here so I won’t even try to rewrite it, just know that what is enclosed in this blog entry was the story of the trip I took to Tennessee to visit her and to try and get a job so I could move closer to her. In hindsight, I’m rather glad I didn’t get that job actually.
It seems I left off at least one state in my map last week of the places I have been. I have also been to Georgia, I am searching my memory to try and recall if I have been to South Carolina or not, I think I have, but until I remember a specific instance, I’m going to leave that one uncolored.
